Akanesasu Shoujo Episode 3 Recap | Is It Evil?
Well, This is getting more interesting as it goes. How Evil is the third episode of Akanesasu Shoujo?
Nana seems set on getting married now. This is not good for her friends as she will cease to exist in their world if she doesn’t return with them. To make matters worse, the monsters from before are still pouring into this world. And it gets even better, but we’ll talk about that more a little bit later. The big thing to walk away with right now is that things aren’t looking good for the girls.
Anyway. It seems Nana is lost in a dream life that isn’t hers, to begin with. She even says some pretty nasty things to her friends but she does regret that later when she’s relaxing in the other her’s room. And then her dreams get crushed when she learns her fiance’s real surname. This causes her to find her friends and apologize. But what could’ve been that terrible? Well with his surname her name would sound a lot like…
That has got to be one of the silliest reason’s I’ve ever heard for not marrying someone. Not soon after vowing to return home with her friends the group is confronted by marriage enforcement officers? So they have people to force marriages on 17-year-old girls? Nana gets easily taken by this set of goons mainly because the only girl with powers is out hunting monsters at the moment. And she isn’t after the cute snow bunny type this time. Twilit Asuka is after much larger prey this time.
Apparently, she is looking for someone called the Twilight King and she is gonna use one of his higher ranked monsters – a Clutter – to find a way to get to him. She has a problem though. She can’t seem to locate it yet. All that changes when everyone is made aware that Nana’s wedding is gonna happen that very day. This is where things get a little more convenient for Nana. It turns out the groom to be is the monster that Twilit Asuka had been hunting.
As an all-out brawl starts, Twilit Asuka fights with all her might against the Clutter, who is able to counter most of her attacks with ease. In fact, he manages to kick her out of her battle form completely. Just then, Nana materializes a cassette tape like the one Twilit Asuka uses when she transforms.
With the tape and cassette player in hand, Nana mimics what Twilit Asuka does in order to transform herself into a battle mode. Nana is able to overwhelm the guy with smacks with her mace… cannon… thing, like she’s been using one for years. And her finishing move was something to behold too. Just look at that thing.
Overall, I’d say this episode is about as Evil as a Villian (9). It’s still a relatively straightforward show. But I like that about it. It’s not over complicated enough to make my head spin.
