Is It Evil – TitanFall 2

Titanfall – a series that lets its players call upon giant Titan robots to obliterate their enemies.  I’m not here to talk about both games today. I’m just here to see just How Evil Is Titanfall 2?

I have yet to beat the story, as I got the game yesterday, so no stories about me losing in single player today. The story begins with the protagonist being trained to become a Titan pilot which apparently is a big deal. Your ship gets attacked interrupting your training and stranding you on a war-torn planet controlled by your enemies and that’s only the beginning. The guy who was training you passes his Titan BT “yes, that’s the only name I remember now” to you. From this point on you can pretty much pilot the Titan any time you wish unless the story demands otherwise which it does sometimes. The whole goal, I’m assuming, is to do as much damage as you can and then leave with BT. “Spoiler Alert!” BT sacrifices himself to save you at the end.

That’s all I know about the story so far. I’m currently in a place that has time distortions so, anything could happen. Now that single player is out of the way… yeah, I did play multiplayer… and it was awesome!  When I first downloaded the updates, I jumped on multiplayer knowing I was going to get my butt kicked. Before anyone says “Git Gud” I did okay, for my first time I called my Titan twice with a single life which was glorious. I stole batteries from Titans and ran for my life. Not exactly fun. More like frightening. Overall, I did okay, but I have a long way to go.

Rating time! The story isn’t much better than COD’s latest campaign but no one is expecting gold from a shooter. Multiplayer is fast, furious, and is very precise. The gameplay in general is good across both multiplayer and Single player. With all that in mind, I would say it’s about as evil as a Politician. Well that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time people.

Keep It Classy,
Evil Bob
