Soul Eater | Episode 5 Mini-Review | Soul Eater Summer

All right, kiddies. Class is in session. Welcome to PAIN 101.

Quick Thoughts

Oh yeah. THAT’s why I liked this guy so much. But real talk, this is perhaps my favorite “it was all a test” episode. It just packs so much stuff in and has so many great character moments.

Favorite Screen Grab

Given the context provided by the entire rest of the episode, with Stein’s own soul seeing, this image is just bone-chilling when you first see it. And you definitely get why Maka freaks out.

Favorite Line

It’s just funny, really. That’s all. Most of the other dialogue is just kinda expository. Fun, but not standout.

MVP: Franken Stein

I mean, really. Could it have been anyone else? Stein is an awesome character and all the buildup around him was great and really feels warranted, despite the nature of what’s actually going on. Plus he’s so zany and entertaining.

Wrap-Up

And that’s that, everybody! What do you guys think of Prof. Stein? Let me know, down below! Catch ya next time! Keep up the Awesome!

Stein’s introduction was awesome. He’s a great character and I’m glad he got such an amazing intro.
