Inuyashiki – Episode 3 Review (Is It Evil?)

Well, that was not the opening I expected. How evil is Inuyashiki episode 3?

Inuyashiki Last Hero
Studio: MAPPA
Genre: Science Fiction

So, remember that fight I was expecting to happen this episode? Yeah, it didn’t happen. Hiro was apparently confused when Inuyashiki didn’t die to his finger gun. Seems he is pretty smart. I have a feeling he is going to be on the lookout for Inuyashiki in the future.

I was expecting him to mop the floor with the old man and leave when that didn’t kill him. Instead, Hiro employs the tried and true Joestar family’s secret technique.

We also got a whole list of powers from Hiro’s conversation with Ando. Apparently, he can do a lot of things, including hijack nukes, hack atm’s, and the entire internet. If he wanted to, Hiro could kill everyone without breaking a sweat.  The one thing that seemed to be stopping him was Ando.

Hiro kind of screwed that up too. Ando is now no longer his friend. I’m thinking next episode, Hiro is going to go berserk. That one friend seemed to act as a buffer for him. That was the one person he would never hurt. Hiro even protected Ando from bullies… then he killed them.

Inuyashiki himself was still doing his hero thing. He fought some thugs, rescued some people from a burning house, and healed a cat that got ran over.  He is doing everything he can to be a hero. He even learned to fly just by watching Hiro do it. And by singing an Astro Boy song. That part was pretty cool.

So yeah, it’s looking like their abilities are all pretty similar, if not identical. That brings me to my next point, though. Inuyashiki really needs to learn how to fight. He only won against the thugs because they were normal humans.  If he were human he would’ve died… so fast.

Overall this episode was pretty awesome. I would say it’s about as evil as a Super Villain. They balanced this episode really well. We got equal parts for both main characters. The contrast of those two makes the show for me. If you like this review check out our others.

That’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.

Keep It Classy,
Evil Bob
