Keika did it, finally. How Evil is Ryuuou No Oshigoto! episode 11?

Yaichi is still an idiot but at least this time he learned that he’s an idiot. Ginko shouldn’t have had to punch him in the face to get him to realize it though. That was probably my second favorite part of this entire episode. She did what I wanted to do to the fool. Yaichi has a way of hurting his friends and making them hate him.

Enough of Yaichi for now. Keika had her final match this episode and it was glorious. Rina made a return as Keika’s opponent which made me thing Keika was going to lose. I was pleasantly surprised when Keika managed to beat Rina. It seems all that training with Ginko paid off. Not only did Keika win her match and become a pro player. She also managed to snap Yaichi out of his I don’t need anyone phase.

Upon snapping out of it Yaichi realized that he had been an idiot to his friends and went to apologize to Ai as fast as he could.  Ai informed him that she too can become a pro and she promptly asked him for permission to do so. So, that awkward deal he made with her mother seems to be fixed. At least that’s what I thought at first.

You see Ai’s mom planned some kind of ceremony that seemed a little too much like a wedding. It was all very awkward, they said vows and everything. The vows were about being master and student, but when you add in the and sickness and health part it just made the whole thing wrong.

If that’s doesn’t sound bad enough Yaichi went along with the whole thing even though it was weird to him. On to of all of that he learned that the Shogi Organization sold him out so they could use then Inn whenever they want. It gets even worse. All of Yaichi’s friends and family were invited to the even and had their own separate tables away from the happy pair.

The killing blow happened when Yaichi had to sign a legal document along with Ai. Yaichi, I hope you read that document before you signed it. Oh and one more thing. Yaichi apologized to everyone but Ginko. So during this event, she was giving him this glare. Oh, Yaichi, you dead.

Overall I would say this episode was about as Evil as Killer Robot Army (8). With Yaichi out of that thing he was in, the show is back to being an eight. The ceremony was awkward but at least it’s funny. I doubt they are going to make Yaichi marry Ai. I’m pretty sure the ceremony was there to mess with the audience. It subverted what I thought was going to happen at least.  If you like this show but want more drama without all the gags. Check out my recaps for Mahoutsukai no Yome.
