Well, this sure was an interesting week. The Promised Neverland hit me like a ton of bricks and JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure: Golden Wind is still pulling no punches with it’s brutal and stylistic action. In just two weeks, a lot of the shows will be ending. Let’s just wait and see which ones end the best.
This is gonna be a weird one. JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure: Golden Wind. decided to have another recap episode so we won’t be covering that. And there’s very little we can say about Boogiepop so that’ll be short… so, um… this is awkward.
Well, this week is the week of set-up. For three of my shows, at least. Too bad TKO is right around the corner, meaning only one of them is gonna survive. Will it be the samurai fantasy adventure, Dororo, or will The Promised Neverland escape its farm and move on to the next round?
Just one more week and the TKO will be in full swing. But how do my shows stack up to Voyager’s? The answer might surprise you. I’ll be saving any of my guesses until after the first round so you’ll have to wait till then to find out.
So, it’s come to my attention that this is not Is It Evil? anymore. This weekly edition needs a new name so I guess we’ll go with Weekly Evil, for now. Not to worry. When I can do episodic recaps again, Is It Evil? will return. And yes, those will be just me. I’ll reserve Weekly Evil for when I’m forced to do weekly recaps. I might get Ry’s help for full series recaps though we’ll see.
I hate qualifiers. For all of those who aren’t aware we just had our Qualifier Round for the second TKO. That means we just cut down the anime moving on in half. Oh, this is gonna be good!
So we got traitors, demon blades, cults, and Stands making babies… I think things are gonna get weird. That could be either good or bad depending on how it’s handled but I’ll be along for the ride because that’s my job. Also, it’s a lot of fun to talk about. Usually.
