Clone Wars

Summer of Star Wars | Ahsoka Can Crash Too

Oh no, they crashed… Again.

Clone Wars

So can three Jedi and an attachment of clones survive marooned on an unknown planet? Find out in the next exciting episode Crashed In Space. Seriously, these episodes where interesting.

New Faces

Commander Bly

Clone Wars

He’s a gruff clone commander with the same no nonsense attitude most of the commanders seem to share.

Tee Watt Kaa

Clone Wars

He is the leader of the Lurmen. He want’s nothing to do with the war and is somewhat stuck in his ways.

Wag Too

Clone Wars

Tee Watt Kaa’s son and the healer of the colony. He too is stuck in their peaceful ways until the war doesn’t give them another choice.

Recaps

Season 1, Episode 13

Clone Wars

This story starts where most good Star Wars stories start, in a space battle. Aayla, Anakin, and Ahsoka barely escape an enemy ship and get flung to some random planet during their escape. During the escape, Anakin got injured to the point that he’s pretty much useless for the rest of the episode. Ahsoka, Aayla, and Bly end up trying to find help for him while Rex stays behind. Somewhere in this time most of their clones get killed by some Mastiff Phalones really nasty beasties that live on the planet. They eventually find the Lurmen village where they meet Tee Watt Kaa the apparent leader who wants nothing to do with them. But he sends his son Wag Too to help heal Anakin.

Season 1, Episode 14

Clone Wars

Tee Watt Kaa’s fears are seemingly realized when the Separatists show up tho set up a new base to test weapons. Anakin and the group leave the Lurmen to fend for themselves at Tee Watt Kaa’s request but have to go back on that when they find out the Separatists plan to test their weapon on the Lurmen. Against the wishes of Tee Watt Kaa, they stay to defend the village from the looking droid attack. And they successfully capture the leader of the attack with the help of a few of the natives.

Basic Character Analysis: Aayla Secura

Aayla is a really cool Jedi. She was trained by Master Quinlan Vos and it kind of shows. She’s very chill for a Jedi. Even when being accused of keeping the war going she knows where her opponent is coming from. She knows this war is wrong but she is powerless to do anything about it.

Random Fun Fact: Mastiff Phalone

These ugly creatures are what tore most of the clones a new one. The fun fact here is that Trandoshans like to hunt these beast.

I saw this and thought it was pretty. And it kind of goes against all the bad crap that’s been happening to Anakin and his group. I mean it’s just a shot at the sunset as if its meant to give us a quick break.

MVP: Aayla

Without her cool head Anakin might’ve died. Ahsoka was in freakout mode and needed a clear head to help her.

Conclusion

And there ya have it. I hope you’ve all enjoyed my take on these stories and I hope you come back for more. Until next time, Keep It Classy.

I felt like this could have been a really good moral debate between the Jedi and Tee Watt Kaa. But the Elder’s argument falls super flat for me when he is basically unwilling to do anything when it becomes obvious that his village is going to be destroyed by the Seps.

There is certainly some honour and virtue to being willing to stick to your guns and be prepared to die for your beliefs, but when you’re a leader you don’t get to make that call, especially if its on behalf of other people. In the end his argument to pieces and didn’t really make me question the Jedi’s methods during wartime when they were so obviously in the right.
