All routes don’t lead to doom.
There’s a lot to talk about for this finale. The first thing is that the Student Council president was possessed by a wizard who wanted revenge. But that didn’t seem to really matter all that much as he was gone pretty fast. He just had a little talk with Catarina and told her all about his troubles… I’m only partially joking. It’s was a bit more involved just go see it for yourself. Catarina wasn’t even all that concerned about the big bad, at least it didn’t seem that way. She was more concerned about the graduation party. In the game, the party is when Catarina is defeated and exiled or killed. She even made this nice bouquet.
Catarina was going around the whole party making sure none of the doom flags would pop up and get rid of her. She even straight up asked about Maria’s love life and couldn’t comprehend her answer. Oh, this loveable airhead. Even after going through all this crap, she remains innocent. In the end, she had nothing to fear. Everyone is in love with her, she’s accidentally made her own harem and she has no clue. And that’s where they ended the first season. The next one has already been confirmed and it’ll take place outside the context of the game. So that should mean no more doom flags but we’ll see.
And there you have it. This might not have ended the way I thought it would but it was super enjoyable all the way through. Anyway, that’s all I have for you if you still feel like reading give Burning Sky a try. Until next time Keep it Classy.
