How not to explore a dungeon dotted with momentary emotions. Yup, this show is still awesome.
You know that feeling when you and your noob buddies play an RPG together for the first time and they set off all the traps? I got so many flashbacks from this episode. Catarina should never be allowed to go inside dungeons after this. She’s the kind of person who would accidentally get all of her friends killed and somehow walk away with the treasure unharmed. She even pushed a suspicious red button without a second thought. Who does that? It wasn’t all fun and games though. We got more backstory on Sophia’s past life. She’s Catarina’s friend from before she died. I guess that explains why they’re so close.
Aside from the dungeon antics, we got a glimpse of what may be a big bad from this show. It was a shadow. That’s all we got. It seemed to like Catarina as it only showed up close to her. It could be that the shadow wants to possess her and turn her into the actual villain. I have another theory though. What if that was the original consciousness that inhabited Catarina before the reincarnation? It’s a longshot but it would be interesting if that was the case. That would mean there’s a chance of her becoming the villain no matter what she tries to do.
Overall this episode was harmless in the grand scheme of things. I’m only curious about what that shadow is up to. Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for you. If you still have time to read check out Burning Sky. Until next time Keep It Classy.
