The villainess rises? I have a feeling that everything Catarina is doing is going to make things worse.
A wild Maria has appeared. I’m just gonna get this out of the way now. Oh my god, she’s so sweet. Okay, now that that’s out of the way. We finally got to meet Maria and everything went fine. Catarina is trying her best to not mess things up but I can’t help but wonder if her trying to fix things is gonna make everything worse. One of the things stated about magic got me thinking. “Everyone uses magic in their own way.” I believe that was said by Nicole and it was said in response to Catarina expressing concerns about her own weak magic. This next part is a theory so don’t take it seriously… unless you want to. I think Catalina has a hidden power to seduce people. If you think about it, it does make some sense too. She’s trying to change her fate to one that will allow her to have a nice life. And all it takes for people to like her is one encounter. Like Maria’s encounter in this episode.
Now they didn’t come out and say that it’s a thing yet but judging by the past episodes it’s a good bet that they’re friends now. Also, Gerald’s reaction to it was priceless. Back to my point. Making friends takes more than one encounter under normal circumstances. But Catarina has only had to really work on Kieth and Alan. Everyone else just kind of became friends with her on the spot. Now it could be just because they’re meant to be almost two dimensional like their in-game counterparts, or magic might be at play. I don’t know, myself. I would probably die laughing if that theory is even close to being true though.
Overall this episode was super enjoyable and now that I’m back on the theory train I’ll be including them for now on. So what do you think about my theory? Let me know in the comments below and be sure to check out Burning Sky when you get the chance. That’s everything for today. Keep it Classy y’all and stay safe.
