Question Time!

If you had to listen to one song on repeat for the rest of your life, which song would you choose?

Uh… I dunno. Pro’lly Lost in Thoughts All Alone from Fire Emblem: Fates. It’s not my favorite song, but it’s a really pretty one and I never do get tired of it or am not in the mood to listen to it. When it comes up on my playlist, it’s one of, like… three songs I never skip. I also really, really like the ED for Irozuku sekai no ashita kara – Mimei no Kimi to Hakumei no Mahou, by Nagi Yanagi. It. Is. Beautiful. And that bassline. Hoo boy. Again by Beverly, from Fruits Basket (2019) is also gorgeous. Though if I had to choose from “Normie” music, then… I have zero clue. Not because I don’t like non-Eastern music. Quite the opposite, actually. I like too much of it across too many varied genres. So asking me to pick one is… nooot easy.

What sound makes you the most uncomfortable?

Nails on a chalkboard is pretty much the memetic response to this question for a reason, yeah? Otherwise, I dunno. I don’t tend to think about sounds often because I have a strong aversion to loud noises, in general. So I just kinda hate all of it.

What is your favorite anime hairstyle? (Male or female)

I don’t really have one. I think certain characters just pull off certain hairstyles better than others, just as actual people do. But it’s just that – variable depending on the character. I like my spiky shounen hair, girly twintails, hime-cuts, etc.

If you had millions of dollars to invest in creating new anime or funding anime sequels, what would your top three courses of action be?

Pfft. I’ve had that conversation at least a million times with the guys. We’d just make all of our own projects into a reality. Priority-wise, the funny thing is that Burning Sky would be the lowest of the three. We’d likely default the top two to being two other projects that we have ambitions of turning into animated series, eventually. We’d technically like to do that with Burning Sky as well, but that’d be far more ambitious and complicated to figure out, given the nature of the project (you’ll see). If I was only able to choose things that already exist, though? Then I’d probably give Medaka Box another season, finish The World God Only Knows anime adaptation, and then probably make an anime for Tomo-chan is a Girl. Ooh. Or maybe to finish Ouran High School Host Club. Not sure which I’d give priority there.

Re-read and link your first post. What are your thoughts on it now?

Nah. I’m good. I mean… our first post here was, like… a paragraph in business-speak because it was an assignment for a class. Or based on one, anyway. It’s not worth going over. I could go over the first post to my recently set up personal blog, tho. But it’s just that. Recent. I’ve no real cause to. You can check it out if ya want, though. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

What is a blog post you’ve written that you wish got more attention?

Uh… metrics aren’t really my thing so I don’t even remember which posts we’ve made that did particularly poorly on views and whatnot. I know we just generally don’t get a ton of likes or comments. So I could argue “damn near any of ’em.” But maybe… I dunno, any of the recent Bulletoon deep dive videos. Really proud of those, but the show just doesn’t get as much love here as directly on YouTube. Which is a shame since I think, for what the show is, they’ve been pretty well put together. Though the Tomo-chan one did ridiculously well (compared to everything else), for some reason. No clue why. Basically, anything having to do with Bulletoon.

NOMINATIONS

Oh yeah, this. Uh… (checks) No specification on how many people? Shoot. Uh… well, let’s see. 5, then. Safe number, that.

MY Questions!

Uh… pass? Oh, fine. If I must, then…

  1. What is your favorite anime protagonist name? Not the protagonist themselves, just the protagonist with the coolest sounding name to you.
  2. Which Zodiac do you find more interesting – Eastern or Western? Or both, if you’re into that sort of thing.
  3. You form a nonsensical club with your friends that no school board in their right mind would approve. What is it and how quickly will the student council come knocking to shut you down?
  4. Or WILL they shut you down? Name (and link to) Four bloggers to fill out your school’s student council – President, VP, Treasurer, and Secretary.
  5. What kaiju is your spirit animal?
  6. What’s a manga/anime you’d recommend that you scarcely ever hear anyone talk about and would like to see get more attention?
  7. Did you know you were basically awesome? Well… now ya do. So there. Guess that solved itself.

Conclusion!

Aaand that’s a wrap. Cool. I’mma go sleep now. Build my strength for the next round of these to inevitably befall me. Thanks for reading!

Keep up the Awesome!

Those are some great song choices. I’d be behind you in continuing on with Medaka Box and TWGOK!

And I purposely took the number of people required to be nominated out of the rules when I did this haha. I don’t like how a lot of tag posts try and force a ton of nominations, seems better to let people choose for themselves how many nominations they want to do.

    Thanks for the answers!
