Quick Thoughts

We Never Learn

Is it just me or was this episode relatively tame, compared to past outings? Like… it seemed like there just wasn’t a whole lot going on. Two incredibly simple minisodes. Fun, for certain. Or… well… the first one was. The second one wasn’t quite “fun,” per se but it was relatively decent character building. But yeah. Not much happening in this one.

Favorite Sequence or Scene

We Never Learn

Nariyuki’s baby siblings are adorable and precious and please keep them away from me.

Favorite Line

We Never Learn

Asumi… you evil little troll doll. I love her, but… yeesh.

MVP: Kirisu

We Never Learn

The episode mostly revolved around her anyway. And she brings a certain complexity to the show that it’d doubtless be lesser without. Sometimes her schtick can get a bit tiresome, but this episode balances that out, at least, with some genuinely fun moments between her and other characters.

Wrap-Up

We Never Learn

That’s half the season already gone! Seriously. That went by way faster than expected. What do you guys think about Kirisu’s harshness? I tend to find it kind of grating. I get that it’s an exaggeration for comedy’s sake and it can be rather funny. But it does tend to register as total whiplash when they try to turn it into an actual lesson since, realistically, no one is that brutal. Thoughts? Let me know, down below. Thanks for reading!

Keep up the Awesome!
