The Expectation

My Hero Academia

My expectations for the series and for the episode, specifically, are a bit different. See, I fully expected this episode to be a recap. Because Shounen. They tend to like those after a break. But I’m expecting the season, itself, to be pretty intense, based on what I’ve heard of this portion of the manga. So we’ll see.

The Reality

My Hero Academia

I was… kind of right. It is a recap episode, but the framing of it was at least pretty creative and amusing with the journalism setup. The only jarring thing about it was the guy just listing off all the students and their powers, really. But I liked the message the episode had about continuing to have hope in a world without All-Might.

The Predictions

My Hero Academia

The episode doesn’t really shape my predictions about the rest of the series at all. I still expect things are going to be pretty intense, going forward.

The Wrap-Up

My Hero Academia

And that’s that. A return to one of my favorite anime. Now to wait for the first real episode to hit us. What’d you think of this light recap? Let me know, down below!

Keep up the Awesome!
