The Expectation

I expected pretty much more of the same, but I’ve read beyond this in the manga, so… yeah. Given that there was only one season between the two outings of this delightful little series, I wasn’t expecting there to even be much of a production bump, either.

The Reality

I was basically correct. Everything’s more or less the same, which is not at all a bad thing. These characters never fail to amuse me with their wacky hijinks, embarrassing scenarios, riotous misunderstandings, and hilariously awkward internal monologue.

The Predictions

Not much to predict. I expect this season will keep delivering the laughs while staying just as genuine and heartfelt as it’s always been,  and maybe tugging at our heartstrings a little along the way.

Wrap-Up

And that’s pretty much it. My early impressions of a show I was honestly looking forward to the return of more than I ever really expected. What about you guys?
