I’m gonna cheat, now. Because I’d be an idiot not to include that trippy sequence in Stein’s head, towards the end as the madness all but completely consumes him. and yet… a trope I have always loved is that dramatic, last-second arrival. Where the hero arrives just in the nick of time to save an ally or some such. It’s just really satisfying.

I mean… how many times must I say that he’s my favorite character? There’s a reason for that, ya know. I could go on about it, but I feel I’ve basically wrung the subject dry, at this point.
