Oh god, so much awesome stuff to unpack in this episode. Stein’s trip to escape the madness, Crona’s finally finding the resolve to make a decision for himself, Marie confronting her own insecurities, just so, so much good stuff.

Favorite Screen Grab

It’s simple, especially in an episode with so much great imagery surrounding the journey through Dr. Stein’s psyche. But seeing Crona with that determined look on his face was just great. A clear indication of exactly how far he’d come.

Favorite Line

And on that note, Crona’s actual request is just another great testament to that growth.

MVP: Stein

But I couldn’t go this whole time without talking about Stein. The trip through madness was just great. Watching him struggle against it, fight the entire way, remind himself of what he needs to do, even by calling on his younger self, it all just makes the episode so engaging. And the eventual outcome makes for quite the trip.
