The Sound of Madness indeed.
Quick Thoughts
They finally got him to play for them. Meanwhile, ya gotta love how both Arachne and Medusa come away from this whole thing as victors – Medusa through cunning, Arachne through position. I like seeing that. Where Medusa is methodical, making her own openings to force situations, Arachne is opportunistic. Taking advantage of situations as they come to her. I like it quite like that about them. And, in fairness, it’s a nice play on their respective animal motifs. Spiders lay their webs as traps for their prey. Snakes slither around and sneak up on theirs.
Favorite Screen Grab
I like Black Star, but Kilik using him as a human shield unnecessarily got a chuckle out of me.
Favorite Line
I just love it. Basically the entire theme of the series, perfectly summed up into one line.
MVP: Soul
Pretty simple. Without Soul, they never would’ve gotten as far as they did. Obviously, his decisions will have some significant ramifications, going forward. And the Little Devil is always fun to have around, of course.
Wrap-Up
And that’s the end of that. A really action-packed episode with some excellent character moments, to be sure. What did you think of Genie Hunter? Worth the risk? Let me know, down below. Catch ya next time. Keep up the Awesome!
