Man. If only they had a Frieza 5 minutes(TM), this would be a cakewalk. Oh well.
Honestly, the fighting is all great, but I think one of the best things is that the episode finds a way to deliver a powerful and real emotional moment for Marie, in the middle of it all, without any cheap tricks.

Dude. This is just freaky and I love it.
It’s simple, but I really like this line. Fear and helplessness are two intrinsically linked emotions. We fear because we feel helpless. And as fear is a massive theme of the series, that works splendidly in her case. Especially when it pertains to fear for others. A selfless kind of fear that both humanizes Marie and makes her that much more endearing. Helplessness to help others, especially those you’re charged with protecting, is a big one. This line captures all of that.
There were actually a lot of characters who could’ve earned this spot. The Little Devil, Soul, Mosquito… But I just had to give it to Marie. And it’s not really hard to see why, given that strong character moment for her, dead smack in the middle of the episode.
That’s a wrap on this episode. But there’ll be more to come, very soon. In the meantime, what do you think of Marie? A worthwhile character? Let me know, down below! Catch ya next time. Keep up the Awesome!
