Right. Spiders. Just HAD to be spiders. Well… could be worse. Could be whatever the hell Kimetsu no Yaiba just dealt with. That aside, the bit of lore is appreciated as, despite us being over halfway through the series, we know shockingly little about the actual world aside from it being Halloweentown on Steroids.

Frankly, the episode itself doesn’t stand out much from a character standpoint. But seeing Justin show up and put on a clinic was a nice way to show off a mere glimpse of what the other Death Scythes are capable of. And it also gives Soul some stuff to think about in regards to his own strength. Especially when Justin has to swoop in and save them all from Giriko.

Wrap-Up

Short. Sweet. To the point. Not much more to say about an episode that was largely exposition and setup. GOOD exposition and setup.
