This is a nice little break after things hit their peak, a few episodes ago. And it was even handily used to set up for future events while introducing us to more fun Death Scythes.

This one spoke to me on an emotional level. I feel for you, Maka. I really do. Hang in there.
I actually really like this line and the overall vibe it sort of sets. It’s a comforting thought, really.
To be fair… there’s not really an abundance of other stuff going on in the episode. Spirit is a goober, but he does clearly possess a modicum of wisdom that occasionally sneaks out. And he’s not incapable of taking things seriously, of course. It’s appreciated whenever we get to see more of that side of him. And it is sweet how much he genuinely cares for his daughter, even if taken to a bizarre extreme in most cases.
So that was a thing. Like a said. I nice chance to wind down, and right around the halfway point. Who’s your favorite Death Scythe? Let me know, down below. Catch ya next time! Keep up the Awesome!
