With the Kishin revived, it’s time for the grudge match between him and Lord Death. And while it’s just a taste of what’s to come, it certainly doesn’t disappoint.

It’s very simple, but from a storytelling standpoint, there’s something especially effective about seeing a typically comical character looking utterly serious. Lord Death’s face, here, is a prime example of that rule.

MVP: Asura

I mean… the whole point of the episode is his revival. Be kinda sucky if he didn’t make enough of an impression to earn this honor. He does, of course.
