Soul Eater | Episode 11 Mini-Review | Soul Eater Summer

The Family Feud continues.

Quick Thoughts

Soul Eater

Not all Camellia Flowers lack a fragrance. Tsubaki showing her true feelings, for a change, is a lovely bit of character growth for her.

Favorite Screen Grab

Soul Eater

Okay. I’m gonna kinda cheat here. Yes, I think the best screencap was this particular one because of how pretty it is. BUT I think basically the entire in the Enchanted Sword when Tsubaki gets her second wind is incredible and equally deserving of this honor. It’s just a masterwork of animation, really. Short though it is.

Favorite Line

Soul Eater

Dammit, why does the raving idiot get so many great lines. I love meaningful repetition, as I’ve already stated. And this line just really helps sell the bond between these two characters so well.

MVP: Black Star & Tsubaki

Soul Eater

I mean… basically for all the same reasons as last time. Just… this time with more of an emphasis on Tsubaki than Back Star.

Wrap-Up

And that’s it for this one, folks! What’d you think? Was Tsubaki’s big moment everything you’d hoped for? Let me know, down below. Catch ya next time. Keep up the Awesome!

    1. True. There tends to be a looot going on in every episode. In retrospect, this actually feels like one of the tamer ones, by comparison. But I really like that about it. It’s really good at using its time and maintaining its pace.
