The plot thickens. But Medusa’s cover certainly doesn’t.
Quick Thoughts
And now the bar has been set. This is what Maka and Soul have to aspire to. Rather handily set up, if I may say so.
Favorite Screen Grab
Ah! So that’s how it’s supposed to look. Kinda.
Favorite Line
I’m… sure it has some meaning I’m too dumb to get, but… what an odd thing to say.
MVP: Stein (and Spirit)
These two jumping into action together was great. I do like their character chemistry, of course. But the thing that stands out the most to me is how the episode also very clearly shows exactly what it is that Maka and Soul are working towards in terms that we can clearly visualize. Prior to this episode, it was fairly vague what their end goal was. And this episode makes it clear using the awesome action put on display by these two. Once again, great characters used in great, very narratively efficient ways. Almost gave it to Medusa, but… eh. She’s got time.
Wrap-Up
And that’s it, everybody. I’m gonna save questions about Medusa for later. For now, what did you think of the fight with Crona with all the cool powers on display? Let me know, down below! Catch ya next time. Keep up the Awesome!
Take Care,
