Part of me feels like an episode showing Kid’s strength against this pair of idiots is more wasting time than particularly useful. But we got some interesting tidbits out of it thanks to Maka’s observations.

Okay. This admittedly got a laugh outta me. Mostly because I remembered the joke and how horrendously it backfired. But seeing these two clowns try to pull this out of their hides and watching it fail utterly just reminded me of hos ridiculous Friendship Attacks and Power-Ups are… and also why I love them so much.

MVP: Maka

Much though I probably should give this to Kid, Maka’s observations during the fight were ultimately what made it worthwhile at all. So I can’t very well say she wasn’t the MVP, can I? Even if she didn’t do any of the actual fighting.
