Blood baths, drinking, and hot springs. This was a weird week.
EvilBob: This has been an interesting week.
Ry: We got an awful lot of death this week, coupled with sweeter shows being… well… sweet.

One-Punch Man 2 Episode 10

EvilBob: We know one weakness Saitama has, for sure, now. He is really bad at video games. I thought he’d gotten better at them but this episode proved me wrong.
Ry: King basically owns him several times without any chance of a comeback at the game they were playing.
EvilBob: Meanwhile, at the Hero Association, the monsters have come forth with a proposal for a ceasefire.
Ry: Of course, it was a complete lie on the part of the Monster Association.
EvilBob: I mean… they’re monsters. And they’re constantly attacking humans. What did the Hero Association expect to happen? I know they were desperate, but still.
Ry: So the monsters think it’s a good idea to challenge the strongest Heroes in their lair… They couldn’t even handle one hero taking out his trash.
EvilBob: Yeah. To be fair, Saitama is way stronger than the other heroes, but…
Ry: He has one skill – to make a mess of monsters everywhere.
EvilBob: But where is Garou? Well, after that last kick from Saitama, Garou’s not feeling too well.
Ry: He was out cold for who knows how long. But today was just his lucky day as Death Gatling began his hunt for him.
EvilBob: He wasn’t alone though. He brought five other heroes with him. Looks like smeone’s in trouble.
Ry: He got hit so hard, it looks like this may finally be it for the Hero Hunter.
EvilBob: Yeah, doesn’t look good for him. Overall, this was a great and enjoyable episode. I’d say it’s about as Evil as a Villain! (9).
Fruits Basket (2019) Episode 11

EvilBob: What is with this show? Last week we had a hilarious Valentines Day episode and now we have an equally as hilarious Hot Springs episode.
Ry: Kyou, Yuki, and Momiji are going with Tohru on this hot spring adventure.
EvilBob: If you’re thinking about all the hot springs antics they could get into don’t, they’ve all been replaced by a creepy proprietress.
Ry: Not only is she creepy, but she also seems to have the ability to appear out of nowhere.
EvilBob: What’s more, she appears to be the mother of the monkey. Not sure who that is yet, but she wants Tohru to befriend them so they can’t be too bad right?
Ry: If the rest of the show has been any indication, it’s going to get weirder.
EvilBob: And then we have Momiji’s antics. He wanted to bath with Tohru and she was gonna let him because she thought he was in elementary school. (Spoiler alert, he isn’t.) When that didn’t work she let him sleep with her… like, literally sleep. Get your minds out of the gutter.
Ry: Suffice it to say, Kyou and Yuki were baffled by his innocence.
EvilBob: Momiji’s antics aside, the ping-pong bit was hilarious.
Ry: Yes, especially the overly enthusiastic miss by Tohru.
EvilBob: I was legit worried when Yuki left. Until he revealed he left to laugh.
Ry: He actually can laugh. He even gives Tohru a ribbon.
EvilBob: That was such a cute moment. Fruits Basket delivered another amazing episode. I’d say it’s about as Evil as a Super Villain! (10).
Dororo (2019) Episode 23

EvilBob: The final battle has begun. And first up on Hyakkimaru’s murder bucket list is Tahoumaru and his possessed cronies.
Ry: The loser squad tries once again to beat Hyakkimaru. Because it worked out well for them, last time.
EvilBob: They were even spouting nonsense about reclaiming what’s theirs, referring to Hyakkimaru’s body parts.
Ry: Everyone seems to treat Hyakkimaru regaining his body as a bad thing.
EvilBob: We’re not saying he’s a saint or anything. But, so far, he’s only killed bad people. Even his idiot of a brother deserves death, right now. Hyakkimaru shouldn’t be forced to be a sacrifice to save a nation doomed by his own father to start with.
Ry: The people are so willing to make him suffer for the appearance of prosperity.
EvilBob: And that’s the thing, isn’t it? Society is built by the sacrifices of the many, not the one. Hyakkimaru’s mother even points out that that kind of prosperity is fragile.
Ry: It’s absurd that they can even point at the actions of Daigo and say that this selfish piece of crap was noble in any of his intentions.
EvilBob: He made that deal to stay in power. And he was willing to sacrifice his own firstborn son to do it. Nothing about that says noble intent in any way. Especially how he laughed when he saw what it did to his son’s body.
Ry: And even after all this, he still thinks he’s in the right.
EvilBob: Such a moron. Anyway, the episode itself was pretty good. I’d say it’s about as Evil as a Super Villian! (10).
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Episode 35

EvilBob: The body swap thing is still pretty confusing.
Ry: It’s basically Russian roulette with bodies and a very bad villain.
EvilBob: I think it’s more like a game of UNO game where everyone has nothing but Reverse cards. The way everything just gets twisted, it’s hard to keep track of things.
Ry: Getting the arrow is going to be much harder than everyone thought.
EvilBob: Oh, you mean with the Stands attacking their own masters when they get close to the arrow? And this is the mind control power in berserk mode. What would the controlled version look like?
Ry: They filled Bucciarati’s body with holes to make sure the boss was out of commission. Well, he couldn’t move. Mista made sure of that.
EvilBob: Unfortunately, the boss has two personalities. Only one of them is in Bucciarati’s body.
Ry: The team learns this the hard way through the death of Narancia.
EvilBob: I hate that he died. He was so young and had so much to live for. And yet again they killed one of the characters I liked.
Ry: Turtle Polnareff manages to grab the arrow as his own Stand charges at him. He figured out that non-Stand users are the only ones that can hold it.
EvilBob: Talk about a weird turn of events. This episode was every bit as fun as the rest of them so far. I’d say it’s about as Evil as a Super Villian! (10).

Meddlesome Kitsune Senko-san Episode 11

EvilBob: God, this show is good.
Ry: Senko is just the sweetest fox ever.
EvilBob: Still wondering what the bad thing is gonna be.
Ry: She did seem to be leaving at the end of this episode.
Conclusion
EvilBob: And there we have it.
Ry: Sheesh, I want to see what’s next in JoJo’s.
EvilBob: I read the manga. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.
Ry: I guess I’ll just take your word for it.
EvilBob: Yes, you will. Anyway, That’s all we have time for today. Thanks for letting us waste your time, people. Make sure to check out the Newest Weekly Anime Redux and Keep It Classy.
