I think I just watched my favorite Valentine’s Day episode… in the middle of June. Well done, Fruits Basket.
EvilBob: The season’s been great, so far. And I’m really looking forward to how things wind down over the next few weeks.
Ry: This one’s been okay…
EvilBob: Alright let’s get to it then.
Recaps
One-Punch Man 2 Episode 9

EvilBob: We’ve been waiting a whole week for this moment.
Ry: Yeah and we got some of what we were hoping for.
EvilBob: I loved how One-Kick Man was worried about Saitama. He even did the monologue about not being strong enough to save him.
Ry: Until a giant head falls down next to him and he is just laying there completely shocked.
EvilBob: I don’t like that the fight was off screen but we all know how it went.
Ry: Meanwhile Garou is in a terrible state having lost another fight, this time to Watchdog Man.
EvilBob: It seems like Garou is becoming little more than a joke now. He can’t seem to win anymore. At this point he’s not even a threat.
Ry: Was he ever a real threat to begin with? Saitama just nopes him when they meet, like before.
EvilBob: That had to hurt. His pride, more than anything. Overall, this episode was enjoyable. In fact, I’d say it’s about as Evil as a Villain! (9).
Fruits Basket (2019) Episode 10

EvilBob: Ah, Valentine’s Day. The scariest time for couples everywhere (or, more specifically, their wallets).
Ry: Wait, what?
EvilBob: Kagura came back just to go on a date with Kyou. And, of course, he has no choice in the matter. To try and sweeten the deal, it becomes a double date with Yuki and Tohru. Tohru may have been a little excited for that.
Ry: Tohru’s apparently never been on a date before. And that’s kinda sad. She’s such a sweet girl.
EvilBob: It was an adorable reaction though.
Ry: The date was something else too. Not sure if I’d call it successful but it was funny to watch.
EvilBob: Is it weird that the girls seemed to be the only ones enjoying themselves?
Ry: Not really. Kyou especially disliked it.
EvilBob: Why though? Kagura is head over heels for him and he avoids her like the plague. She’s cute, funny, and I’m sure she still has those knives on her. What more could he want?
Ry: That is a good question. Oh, let’s not forget the movie they went to see.
EvilBob: I’m not entirely sure what it was about, but the guys weren’t having any of it. Even though it didn’t look like a chick flick at all.
Ry: We still know one thing for sure, though. Kagura is still scary.
EvilBob: Overall it’s an enjoyable episode and I’m glad that it was more comical this time around. I’d say it’s about as Evil as a Super Villain! (10).
Dororo (2019) Episode 22

EvilBob: Welp. Hyakkimaru is pissed and someone put a whole lot of toy soldiers in his way.
Ry: It looked like clearance day at the butcher shop.
EvilBob: That… is an accurate description. It seems that after being treated like a demon for so long, Hyakkimaru has had enough of the nice guy act and is now acting the part that the world has given him.
Ry: He’s basically death. Even has the horse to prove it. Tahoumaru and his team are still feeling the loss of the last defeat and the show tries to make us feel sorry for them even though they’re in the wrong.
EvilBob: And now one of them is dying. And they still have the nerve to blame all of their problems on Hyakkimaru. The crops are dying it’s all Hyakkimaru’s fault. You know if you didn’t make a deal with demons, this wouldn’t be happening you morons.
Ry: Yeah, ultimately idiot daddy started this and idiot brother keeps reinforcing the decision to keep the deal. Morons… Now they’ve pushed him into becoming the demon they feared, ultimately spelling their doom.
EvilBob: With Hyakkimaru in a rage I wonder of Dororo will even be able to calm him down at this point.
Ry: I don’t know but just look at that body count. And How do the idiots try to counter this mistake? They simply make another deal with the demons.
EvilBob: Yes, because deals with demons work out so well.
Ry: They even decided it’s a good idea to make a deal to get body parts – Hyakkimaru’s body parts.
EvilBob: They are so dead. He wants those back enough to kill, so… Overall this was an enjoyable episode. I’d say it’s about as Evil as a Super Villian! (10).
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Episode 34

EvilBob: Okay, word of warning. This is the start of a body swap arc. This is gonna be confusing no matter how we try to explain it so just bear with us.
Ry: it’s like a masquerade party but instead of costumes, they are wearing someone else’s body, while retaining their own Stands.
EvilBob: That’s what a body swap does. So Mista is inside of Trish and she’s in him. Yeah, that’s probably the funniest combo we got from this so far. Giorno got switched with Narancia and the turtle got switched with Polnareff. That only leaves one person for the boss to swap with – Bucciarati.
Ry: That seems to be the case until they find out that a large area around them is also swapped in this way.
EvilBob: That is one heck of a monkey wrench. While the group is gaining their bearings, Turtle Polnareff – who can speak now, for some reason – tells them that his Stand has gone berserk.
Ry: Not only is Silver Chariot berserk, this body swapping thing won’t end until the arrow is taken from it. Giorno and his team must somehow get the arrow before the boss can acquire it and use its power to defeat him. It’s supposed to give whoever uses it mind control powers.
EvilBob: So, couldn’t they misuse a power like that? That seems like an awful power for gangsters to obtain.
Ry: Polnareff thought it was a good idea so it should be safe right?
EvilBob: He also thought challenging the boss alone was a good idea.
Ry: The boss, or his body, or whoever is in the body rushes at Silver chariot.
EvilBob: Surprise! It’s Bucciarati. That’s where they left us hanging, this time. Other than the annoying cliff hanger, the episode was super enjoyable. I’d say it’s about as Evil as a Super Villian! (10).
Favorite Episode
Meddlesome Kitsune Senko-san Episode 10

EvilBob: This was so adorable.
Ry: Oh yes, it was.
EvilBob: I Love Senko’s boss. She’s a nice addition to an already charming cast.
Ry: I loved the flustered Senko moments.
Conclusion
EvilBob: And that’s all the shows on the list.
Ry: Some of these were much shorter than normal.
EvilBob: Well, that happens when things are so straightforward. Anyway, That’s all we have time for today. Thanks for letting us waste your time, people. Make sure to check out the Newest Episode of Bulletoon and Keep It Classy.
