Seriously, this boy has more responsibility thrust upon him that Peter-friggin’-Parker.

Oh. Another episode I don’t really have a lot to say about. This week’s been weird. Well, whatever. This time things were reversed. The first skit was the more substantial one, whereas the second was basically just an extended and convoluted gag that, while mildly amusing, didn’t really grab me as much because the setup deprived us of some of the character chemistry. For reasons. In favor of fan service, which… okay, I guess?
But yeah. That first segment was a lot better, featuring a genuinely funny open, as well as some nice moments of humor strewn throughout on Kirisu’s part… as well as Rizu’s. If nothing else, Rizu is probably the most adorable of Nariyuki’s current 3 (4?) routes. She’s just so bashful about it, where Uruka is an emotional trainwreck and Fumino is still in hardcore denial mode. But while the humor of the segment was great, I think the best of it all came from interactions between Rizu and Kirisu, who are clearly deeply opposed to one another… now in multiple things that just their student-teacher dynamic. Yet Nariyuki’s ability to understand why Kirisu is so harsh with Rizu – despite disagreeing with her on fundamental level – made the entire segment worthwhile.
Overall, the episode was nice Junk Food with a bit of nice heart, in the beginning. And Fumino’s closer on the episode was great. What’d you think? Let me know, down below. And check out Kimetsu no Yaiba if you’re more interested in some hotblooded Shounen action. As always, thanks for reading, folks. Keep up the Awesome!
Take Care,
Voyager
