So, Stands and a train then? Welp, this is gonna get weird. How Evil is the 14th episode of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind?
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind
Studio: David Production
Genre: Action, Adventure, Shounen
Welp, we are back from our break. Time to get the recap back on track starting with JoJo’s. Also, I’m most likely gonna do this season’s recaps in a similar style to what Voyager has been doing. That will start next week after the first impressions are done. Also, I have to regain my honor in this season’s TKO. The family was shamed by my failure.
Oh yeah, I skipped 13.5 because it’s a recap episode, this article is better anyway. Anyway, Bucciarati’s group is still trying to deliver Trish to the boss. and this time they won’t be dealing with a single opponent. It seems the hitmen have finally figured out sending one guy to take on a group wasn’t working for them. Our villains this time are Prosciutto and Pesci. And just like the last few their Stands are kind of freighting.
Prosciutto is the tall blonde one by the way. His Stand makes people age. So he basically wields the most dangerous weapon of all time itself. When the duo can’t find out heroes Prosciutto immediately starts to age everyone on the train to death. Most of the team ends up looking like living mummies but Giorno figures out how to counter it.
You see Prosciutto’s Stand targets people based on body heat. And Trish’s body temperature doesn’t get affected as much as everyone else. They explained it in the show I’m not about to do that here. Anyway, the way to defeat time is to cool down the body of the afflicted so Ice or cold drinks and food. Unfortunately, that only leaves Mista, Bucciarati, and Trish the only ones not taken out by Prosciutto’s Stand. So Mista has to beat these two guys by himself.
I guess seeing him use his gun to beat these guys might be fun. If he manages to take out the guy causing everyone to age he’d even get back up before the fight is through. Now all he has to do is sneak up on the guy and blow his brains out. That should be simple for someone who can control his bullets in flight right?
Of course, he doesn’t get the chance. His stealth mission gets shot to pieces because he’s a nice guy. You see after emerging from the hiding spot he spots the AC controls and he makes the mistake of trying to turn it on to slow the aging process. Yeah, that was a trap, Pesci set it up using his stand. Things are looking really bad for Bucciarati’s group right now.
Overall I’d say this episode was about as Evil as a Super Villian! (10). And if you haven’t heard we have an original project in the beta reader phase, so make sure you check that out. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
