JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Episode 12 Recap | Is It Evil?

Bucciarati’s group sure is popular. How Evil is JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind Episode 12?

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind
Studio: David Production
Genre: Action, Adventure, Shounen

So the hitmen are indeed after the group now. After Formaggio got offed last time there was a slight chance that his friends wouldn’t show up. Yes, barely chance is still a chance. Anyway, for some reason, another lone hitman shows up because that worked well last time. Seriously, can they send more than one? these one on one fights are cool and all but the group fights are what I’m here for. to be fair this might be the last solo battle unless they are gonna give Trish one too. But that would defeat the point, wouldn’t it? If Trish has to fight it would mean Bucciarati’s group failed their job.

Fugo, Abbacchio, and Giorno are tasked with finding a key hidden somewhere in Pompeii. Hmm, so the key is hidden in a place far enough away from regular people to minimize damage, is this a setup?  The place is even devoid of any people when they arrive and there is no sign of them being followed. That is until they get attacked by a Stand user who controls his own little mirror world and that’s when this happens.

Strangely, enough  Abbacchio and Giorno aren’t the ones caught up in the enemy Stand’s ability only Fugo is. With Fugo separated from the others the enemy begins to interrogate him it’s not pretty Fugo can’t even call his stand to him because the other guy won’t allow it. And then there’s his flashback.

Yeah, Fugo’s is pretty bad. He’s apparently always had anger problems and they got so bad that he wanted to kill his own parents. Don’t worry though it gets worse when he’s older. Apparently, he had a personal relationship with one of his professors and he ended up beating the guy to death with a book. So yeah doesn’t seem like he’s changed all that much. I guess he’s a little more directed now so I guess that’s good?

Okay, so this next part is gonna offend PETA. So if you have a problem with the way JoJo handles animals you might not want to read the next two paragraphs. Fugo while not able to summon his stand to himself still managed to summon it to where his allies are. He then started killing crows using the virus that his stand produces and they somehow dropped into the mirror world while still rotting. I think he’s using them as land minds.

Abbacchio did explain that even skin contact could infect someone. The enemy stepped in one too so I’m guessing if he starts dying it’d prove me right. Of course like most of the other fights so far it’s gonna go for at least another episode before it ends. And we get the standard hero is losing shot to close it out too. Well, it’s got a formula that’s for sure.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind

Overall I’d say this episode is about as Evil as a Super Villian! (10). I do they change it up soon. If you have time check out what Voyager’s up to. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind is on Crunchyroll.
