Chio’s School Road

Chio’s School Road Episode 12 Recap | Is It Evil?

It’s over? I want more, dangit! How Evil is the 12th episode of Chio’s School Road?

Chio’s School Road
Studio: Diomedea
Genre: Comedy, Slice of Life

That was a hilarious final outing. This series has been a riot since the first episode and it didn’t stop. It’s kind of sad to see it go after I’ve had so much fun watching it. For now, let’s dive into what happened this time.

Our first story starts off with Chiharu asking Chio for help with her homework… I feel so sorry for Chiharu. Not only did she ask a below average girl for help, she apparently doesn’t have any friends to help her with it. Chio agrees to help find a way to make a certain amount of money in order to complete the assignment. Of course, this is Chio we’re talking about. Nothing ever goes her way… the first time, anyway. After screwing it up, Chio and Chiharu run into Manana, who is standing in line to for a sale. While trying to convince Manana to go to school with her, they stumble upon a way to make money rather easily. They sell Manana’s spot in the line.

Our next story is one of those weirder ones. You see, Manana and Chio are joined by Yuki this time. And It comes to light that Yuki and her family don’t wear clothes at home. Yuki is kind of bragging about it and it weirds Chio out. Manana tries to play it cool and gets instantly confronted. I think Yuki pressured her into going commando? To be honest, I was laughing too hard to know for sure. Their facial reactions to the whole thing were just gold.

Chio tries to stay out of the whole thing. But she realizes her friends are having fun and seem to get jealous and she ends up going commando too. So, now we have three teenaged girls, going commando on their way to school. It’s just a normal Tuesday on this show. Nothing could possibly go terribly wrong for them, right? They even did a high five.

Well, there is only one person that could ruin this. The only one that can mortify these three. And her name is Madoka. I love how she showed up right when they decided to do something stupid like this. Chio and Manana knew what was about to go down as soon as she showed up too. They were indeed, mortified. Yuki seemed to have forgotten what happened last time, as she volunteered to play Kabaddi without hesitation.

Ah, Yuki. So weirdly naive. Chio wasn’t about to let a game happen with Yuki going commando. Madoka would enjoy that way too much. What did Chio do to prevent that from happening then? Chio tackled Yuki at full speed and dragged her out of Madoka’s view. This left Manana alone to come up with an excuse and she decided to use the old “we have to go to the bathroom ploy,” which worked out in their favor.

Chio’s School Road

Overall, I’d say this episode was about as Evil as a Super Villian (10). I’d also give this season the same rating. Oh and the good news. There’s a second season coming. The entirety of the credits was full of previews for it. Here’s hoping it’s as hilarious as this one. Oh, If you’ve been keeping up with the site Voyager has his computer temporarily fixed, so that’s good. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.

Chio’s School Road is on Crunchyroll.
