Angels of Death Episode 10 Recap | Is It Evil?

Either I’m high or this episode made absolutely no sense. I’m gonna go with the second option. How Evil is the 10th episode of Angels of Death?

Angels of Death
Studio: J.C. Staff
Genre: Mystery, Horror,

I get it,.Ray is under the influence of some pretty strong drugs. But it’s hard for me to enjoy this episode when I can’t even make out if what I’m seeing is real or not. That being said, it’s not like this show is easy to follow, to begin with. We still know next to nothing about Ray other than the fact that she has a darker, more selfish side and that she will kill you if you get in her way. We know more about Zack than we do her. Anyway, let’s get into the episode.

It starts off with Ray somehow falling into the coffin that was made for her. It turns out to be an illusion, but It’s one heck of a way to start of an episode. Unfortunately, that’s only the start of the weirdness. We get a lot more trippy dreams or illusions as the episode goes on. One of the most notable is Ray in the electric chair that Zack voluntarily sat in. She even stabbed a mirror and it bled… okay.

To make things a little more unenjoyable, Gray has finally decided to judge Ray. He drugs her so much that every floor master except Zack has come to the trial. They’ve all come to testify why Ray needs to die. All of them even seem to have this idea that it’s her fault they all wanted to kill her, to begin with. I can’t even begin to understand that messed up logic.

Oh yeah. They also all claim she’s a witch. Yes, because that’s a good excuse to kill someone. Salem witch trials, anyone? I mean, magic doesn’t even exist a far as this show’s concerned. The only thing that might be magical is Grey’s ability to speak and interact with illusions. Another thing. Grey keeps acting like the murderers he employed are the best kind of people. Like he’s actively justifying their actions and condemning Ray for hers. Apparently, her teaming up with Zack was a witch’s contract somehow.

Angels of Death

The entire trial Grey put on was a sham from the beginning. None of the witnesses are even reliable or stable for that matter. I don’t know why I’m even dragging this out. I’m dropping this series. I have given this show enough chances to get better and all it’s done is go downhill even more. If I had to choose between this and Holmes of Kyoto, I’ll take Holmes any day.

I can’t even bring myself to recommend this show to anyone. I did look into how the game ended as well and I gotta, say If you want to check out the game, do so at your own peril. I’m just glad to be getting out of this before it ends. In all seriousness, though It’s still not the worst show I’ve seen. I’m sure someone doesn’t want to see the show burn like a witch. In retrospect, I probably should’ve read other articles about the show before I decided to pick it up. They might’ve convinced me not to pick it up.

Angels of Death

Overall I’d say this Episode was about as Evil as an Upstanding Citizen (1). While the show is as Evil as a Henchman (4). It’s just one of those shows that made me regret watching it this far. I did enjoy it at first but it really rubbed me the wrong way. It’s not trash but I won’t ever be rewatching this one. If you want to watch something that won’t leave a bad taste in your mouth, check out the latest episode of Bulletoon Weekly. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.

I dropped this one back at episode 4 I think but have been following Irina and Raistlin’s reviews. They’d almost convinced me to go and binge the episodes I’d missed but after reading this I think I’ll go back to waiting again. That said, I did drop Holmes this week as well. This season has definitely seen me dropping more shows than ever before.

I believe it. We barely even picked up anything based on how meh it all looked, at a glance. Some happy surprises, but yeah. Pretty subpar season, really. In terms of what appeals to our tastes, anyway.

Thanks for the share. This show is soooo exhausting. I need water and an orange slice after watching it. Her standing around just being there is the most irritating thing ever.

Thanks CVoyage. I’m always happy to help. I should’ve quit this on episode 4 too, but I was dumb enought to force myself to endure untill now. I’ve heard the game is better but I won’t be playing it. Now if you’ll excuse me I need to drown my sorrows in Avatar: The Last Airbender now.
