So that little guy is the actual emperor and he’s Teruhi ‘s great-grandfather? I really need to read up on Japan’s history sometime. This show’s story is just too interesting but we need to know just how Evil the 7th episode of Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion is.
Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion
Studio: NAZ
Genre: Historical, Drama, Action,
Kuchii’s meeting with the emperor is ongoing. The Emperor recounts an event from his past before Teruhi finally arrives. Them emperor himself greets her as her great-grandfather much to Kuchii’s surprise. He then charges them both with the protection of the people and gives Teruhi orders for the guys that helped them before. This brings up a couple of questions for me.
The first on the list is why is the emperor traveling without his army during a war? In the first episode we were told about reinforcement so where are they? My next one is related but if this is a family matter and they knew the Mongols were coming why weren’t they prepared to begin with? In the first three episodes, they knew the Mongols were coming that why they brought the prisoners in the first place so why nothing more? Anyway, Kuchii and Teruhi travel to a bay to find their reinforcements and arrive just in time to watch the Mongols fall into a trap.
It was a glorious one too so you’ll gonna have to watch it for yourselves. If you’ve been following this show so far Kuchii and the commander for this new group don’t really see eye to eye on anything. That would be a problem if Teruhi wasn’t there. The guy actually seems to smile when he sees her.
I’m pretty sure if he has feelings for her it’s gonna be a problem later on seeing how Teruhi has her eyes on Kuchii. Teruhi hands over the orders from the emperor and the new group follows them without question. Teruhi and Kuchii’s group follow behind their new friends deep into the woods to Kanatanoki a castle that belongs to this new group.
Once they all arrive at the castle the new group takes over the protection duties and everything is fine. Yeah, you know I’m joking that would be way to easy. Kuchii and his scout get busy checking out the area and what they find isn’t good news for anyone. Yes, the castle is awesome and could hold off the Mongols if properly staffed but they lack the manpower to properly staff the defenses meaning that the castle would be a kill box if attacked.
On top of the understaffed problem one of the criminals that got away before the fighting has shown up again. He seems to be trying to convince people to take his easy way out which may be joining the Mongols. If last time is any indicator this won’t go well for anyone that joins him.
Overall, this episode was about as Evil as a Killer Robot Army (8). The story is still interesting I still wish that filter was gon though. If you just wanna watch something new check out the newest Bulletoon Weekly. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
