Chio’s School Road Episode 6 Recap | Is It Evil?

Madoka’s back for revenge and Chio is still trying to make her games real. How Evil is the 6th episode of Chio’s School Road?

Chio’s School Road
Studio: diomedea
Genre: Comedy, Slice of Life,

This episode starts off with Madoka missing. Yuki got worried so she called Chio to help find the wayward senpai. Of course, Manana is along for the ride and you know what that means. More antics that prove they can’t be friends. Last time it was a bet this time they throw each other under the bus. Don’t worry they don’t actually throw each other into traffic it’s the metaphorical bus.

The madness really starts when they find Madoka. They observe Madoka training to beat Chio. Naturally, Chio does the one thing that she would do in a situation like this. She launches Manana onto the scene. Why are these two friends? Manana tries to cheer up Madoka but end up causing her to power up instead.

With Madoka aimed towards Manana, she does the one thing she can do to save herself from the oncoming attack, Manana points out where Chio is hiding and Super Madoka gets to work tackling and molesting the poor girl.  To be fair she did kind of deserve this one for the way she launched Manana. And then poor Yuki ends up on the scene and things go back to normal mostly.

Then the second part of the episode opened with Chio talking about a new game she just got. If you’ve watched this show consistently like I have you know exactly what to expect from this next part. This time it’s some kind of spy game she’s trying to emulate in real life. And Manana just happens to be the target of this game influenced prank.  Chio is trying to cross a bridge while hanging from it so she can stealth kill Manana.

Thing is she isn’t strong enough to pull it off. She get’s stuck in the middle of the bridge and isn’t even able to stop herself from falling in. Chio manages to get Manana to notice her but Manana also figures out why Chio’s hanging onto the bridge, to begin with, and understandably refuses to help.

Chio uses the last of her own strength to grab Manana’s leg forcing the duo to share the situation. Forced to work with Chio, Manana manages to help Chio stand up that doesn’t go well for them. Chio is too weak and falls backward off of the bridge but Manana manages to catch her before she falls into the water below. Unfrotantly Manana doesn’t have the strength to pull them both back onto the bridge so they get stuck hanging off of the bridge for a while before a random stranger walks by. And here are the faces he’s greeted with.

Chio’s School Road

Overall I’d say this episode is about as Evil as a Super Villian (10). I’m morbidly curious about how far Madoka will take her obsession. Hopefully, they won’t overuse her as a joke. If this crazy show doesn’t do it for you check out CVoyage’s Weekly Anime Redux articles. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
