Chio’s School Road Episode 5 Recap | Is It Evil?

Anime and game references this time looks like this show is mixing things up a little. How Evil is the 5th episode of  Chio’s School Road?

Chio’s School Road
Studio: diomedea
Genre: Comedy, Slice of Life,

From a friendly bet to a high-stakes race against the clock. That sounds like a pretty big jump until you figure out that this is a bathroom episode. So Chio has to rush to find a bathroom in the first 5 to 10 minutes or be faced with a problem no one wants to have. She manages to get to a bathroom just fine but there is a major problem with the restroom itself.

In her panic, Chio ended up in the men’s restroom… I don’t think you need me to tell you how bad this gets, let’s just say it’s not pretty at all. Chio has plenty of ideas of how to get out but she settles on jumping out a nearby window while using a random cat for cover. Look, if you want more than that go watch the episode. But first look at that poor cat.

In the second part of the episode, we got an entirely new character who is on patrol because of the Bloody Butterfly incidents. That joke’s never going to die, is it? Anyway, the new character Momo has taken it upon herself to find out if the rumors are true. She’s some kind of disciplinary helper at the school and she only wants to the school to be seen in a good light.

She actually bumps into Chio and Manana when they are behaving themselves. I know weird right? I thought for sure they would do something stupid like they always do. Mmm, maybe it’s because this girl doesn’t know them? Well, as long as she doesn’t praise them as saints everything should be fine.

Well crap, there goes that. The minute Mome thinks those words the stupid gets turned on full force. Chio and Manana start fighting with each other in just about every way you can imagine. They even had a sword fight mixed in with all of that. You really have to see that for yourself though, words can’t really do it justice.

The fighting got so bad that Momo felt that is was her duty to stop them. She even claimed that they can’t be real friends because friends don’t act like that towards each other. And with that Chio and Manana combined their dragon powers to unleash their ultimate show of friendship.

Some dance they came up with a long time ago. It moved Momo to tears and seeing how the dance itself was terrible I can see why.  Manana points out that Momo doesn’t have friends which turns out to be true and the episode stops there pretty much. Overall I’d say this episode is about as Evil as a Super Villian (10). I’m not sure if this show can get any funnier than it already is. It’s just so stupid I love it.
