Everything just got turned upside down with just two episodes. How Evil are the 10th and 11th episodes of Magical Girl Ore?
Magical Girl Ore
Studio: Pierrot Plus
Genre: Magic, Comedy
Episode 10 gave us a nice flashback to when Saki’s mom first became a magical girl. It’s kind of funny how alike those two are but how Saki’s parents met is so stupid that I just love it. I’m not going to say how that goes down you just need to watch the first five minutes of episode 10 to find out. Anyway, let’s get back to the present.
Most of this episode mirrored the last one, in fact, they even say that in this episode. Our heroes stalk who they think the main villain might be only to learn that he’s the soon to be king of the fairies and that just like their fairy partner would die with a single hit in battle. At least that explains why he’s always gone when the demons show up. While the girls are trying to find the big bad he reveals himself to the audience.
That’s right the manager for our heroes is behind everything. In episode 11 the fairy king comes right out and tells the girls that their manager is the big bad. He even shows them a picture of their manager hanging out with demons. They are skeptical of all of the evidence.
And then the city gets attacked through multiple demon world portals and a weird beam that changes the art of the show to look less polished. I’m a little surprised that no one actually said anything about that. Well anyway, during the attack the manager decides to threaten the city like any cliche villain would on national television.
Our heroes head straight into the demon world to confront the villain only to be split up by an elaborate trap leaving Saki alone against her former manager. Right after our villain gives a rather tame monologue he yells cut. And this is when I might mess up something so bear with me. Saki asks him why he did all of this and he says he did it for them.
We then get a flashback showing how he was bored in the demon world and he used a situation to go to earth and watch magical girls not the shows. Unfortanly he ran into Saki’s mom on the day that she had to quit and became a neet because of that. He only started summoning other demons when the girls became magical girls to enhance their careers so, is he really bad?
I’m not too sure what to think about these developments. Everything in this show is just dumb, but I can’t stop watching it. I would say these episodes are about as Evil as a Politician (7). The season finale is coming up soon I might just cover it early to get it out of the way. If you want to try something else CVoyage has been reviewing Toji no Miko so why don’t you go give that a try? Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.

Keep It Classy,
