Assassin’s Creed continues down the path of the action RPG genre and it looks good, so far.
After the series changed drastically with the release of Assassin’s Creed Origins in 2017 a lot of people were shocked in the number of changes that were made. In a lot of ways, it picked up elements that felt like they should’ve been in the series, to begin with, like the world being truly open from the start of the game. Of course, there’s the flip side of being killed by a high-level animal like a buzzard but that replaced the barriers in the world. From what was shown at E3 Odyssey is set to make even more changes and improvements to the series. I could talk about this all day but that’s what video links are for.
Okay, another new feature that should really help this series is the dialogue choices. This is probably the thing the series needed the most. The player could play contrary to how the main character would behave in almost every single situation in the games, so it’s about time that the players can choose what is said too. The game releases October 5th, 2018.
That awkward moment when Assassin’s Creed has romance options but the Bioware game does not.
