Well, they covered a lot in this final episode. How Evil is Mitsuboshi Colors episode 12?
Mitsuboshi Colors
Studio: SILVER LINK.
Genre: Comedy, Slice of Life
This episode started with the girls making a video guide for their group and the town or they tried to. The video was full of bloopers and even the camera work was a bit on the shoddy side. It was pretty hilarious to watch them parade around town and get people from just about every episode involved in their antics. And poor Saito this time they stole his bike from him and answered his work phone.
After the opening, the second story of this episode happened. This time the girls find out the batteries in their walkie-talkies are dead and they are supposed to meet with someone to get a case. However, they get sidetracked at the local park and decide to play instead of doing anything they set out to do.
After all the cute antics of the girls playing in the park, they finally head to get the batteries. It seems like they totally forgot about the case though. Sometime after getting the batteries or at least heading in the direction to get new ones.
The girls find themselves in the middle of a festival of some kind. The girls want to get a snack but they don’t have any money on them. The girls head to Sacchan’s mom and ask her for Strawberries. They intend to sell enough to buy the snack they want. Sacchan’s mom agrees to it and gives them the product.
We then get a repeat of what happened with the bananas. The girls use aggressive sells tactics that work. Only this time no mock fights. In this one segment, we see people from every episode so far. Even the two girls that played the zombie game on the Halloween episode.
The girls manage to sell all but one package of strawberries so they change strategies. They find a man that appears to be feeling down and force him to eat a strawberry. They kind of put on a cute little show that cheers him up in the process though. And then they take all the money he had left. He doesn’t care too much. He takes the berries and eats them while he looks for a job.
After the credits, we get a third story though it’s a little shorter than the other two. It follows the girls as they drag a futon through their town. It’s really funny to watch the reactions of the people they pass while dragging this thing. When they get to Saito Sacchan tells him if he looks at them he’ll go bald. He responds with his usual face.
The girls drag the futon into the center of the park and set it up for their new case, Park Surveillance and Relaxation. So, napping in the park. Saito sees them sleeping and just says something about how nice and peaceful the day is. That is pretty much how this last episode ended. I’m not even sure if this is truly the end of this show. There was a little message that said this is not the last of the adventures. I wonder if that means this might get a season two.
Overall I’d say this episode was about as Evil as a Killer Robot Army (8). This show managed to stay consistent throughout it’s run. Which is still not something every show manages to do. If you want to see something else that has stayed consistent check out my recaps of Mahoutsukai No Yome. It just finished an amazing run as well. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep It Classy,
Evil Bob
