I know I’ve said this a lot, but this episode warrants it again. Yaichi you idiot! How Evil is Ryuuou No Oshigoto! episode 9?
Ryuuou No Oshigoto!
Studio: Project No.9
Genre: Comedy, Romance
The tournament continues along with Yaichi’s problems with women. We learn a lot about that demon from the last episode. We learned maybe a little too much actually, like the fact she and Yaichi used to date. Yeah, If you have watched up until now you probably know where this is going. He dumped her when he realized she was a tad bit crazy for him. And no not the good kind of crazy, the unhinged kind.
Unfortanly for Yaichi all of this gets brought up in front of Ginko. After an interrogation Yaichi spills the beans on his “ex.” Ai interrupts but joins in after hearing what the interrogation is about. I’m not even mad about these developments, but how in the world did Yaichi keep this a secret to begin with?
Ai acted more mature than both Yaichi and Ginko combined. She simply listened to Yaichi and told him she’d take care of it. Ai’s next match in the tournament is the demon girl of Yaichi’s nightmares. The match is brutal, the demon girl keeps trying to destroy Ai mentally saying things like I’ll replace you when I win and things of that nature. At first, her dirty tactics are working but as soon as she utters the I’ll replace you speech it is on.
Ai kicks her game into overdrive and mercilessly pounds her foe into submission. Consider that demon sealed. I have to admit she deserved every bit of that beating and it was glorious to watch. That girl’s pride is gone, it’s almost like she shouldn’t have been such a nasty player, to begin with.
With that boss dealt with both Ai’s and Keika move on to the next part of the tournament. Oh, I almost forgot. Both Ai’s dedicated their wins to Yaichi for his birthday. It was just so cute it would be a sin if I didn’t at least mention it. I kind of doubt we have seen the last of demon girl but for now, she has been vanquished.
Overall this episode was about as Evil as a Killer Robot Army (8). Ai’s match was just too glorious for me not to enjoy it. Seeing a grade schooler bear a grown woman is just funny to watch. If you like this show but you like fantasy more check out our reviews for Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card. It’s a lot of fun and the action looks like it may pick up. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep It Classy,
