Glad to see this show is still mixing things up a bit. How Evil is Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san episode 8?
Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san
Studio: AXsiZ Studio Gokumi
Genre: Comedy, Shoujo Ai,
This episode started with Yuu and Misa at the beach. Jun and Koizumi are noticeably absent from the entire scene. So Yuu and Misa have theories about why but Jun is the only one they get right. Koizumi isn’t eating ramen like you might think either. She’s with Jun in the school library, working on a report that’s due after the summer break.
Seams like Koizumi is getting better at putting school first at least. Both of them leave the library to get something to eat. They actually eat instant ramen again, this episode. But unlike last time, Koizumi leads Jun to a store that has a wide variety. It’s kind of creepy that Koizumi has tried every flavor though.
The second part of this episode was a departure from Yuu and Koizumi’s group. This time we follow Yuu’s brother and some of his friends. They basically fill the same rolls that Yuu’s friends do but they’re all guys. It was kind of fun to see the similarities between both groups.
I do have to say one thing. I didn’t find the guys nearly as entertaining as the girls. I’m not even sure why that is. Things seemed a little slower with them I guess. Maybe Yuu’s constant failing is more enjoyable than I thought?
Well, anyway the guys do what every character in this show does. They go to a ramen shop to eat. Oh yeah, the guys have been arguing about eating ramen with rice for some reason. Don’t ask why, that honestly escapes me. Look, I’m no expert on ramen but, food is food. Everyone has their own taste so I never get arguments about food.
After they start eating they spot Koizumi entering the shop and stare at her as she eats… so, you know. Not creepy at all. While watching her devour her food, the group comes to a startling revelation. Koizumi is a master of eating ramen. That was the funniest moment with these guys.
Overall this episode was about as Evil as a Villian (9). Still, nothing for me to really gripe about, the guys may not be as fun as the girls but they’re still plenty entertaining. If you want another show with a love for food, check out our reviews for Dagashi Kashi 2. It’s even changing it up a bit. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep It Classy,
Evil Bob
