Well, this episode was adorable. How Evil is Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san episode 6?

This started off exactly as one might expect after getting this far into the series. It starts off with Koizumi giving in to her addiction once again. This time apparently she got up super early just to eat some ramen. I swear she needs help, If she is losing sleep just to eat ramen it’s going to affect her at school eventually.

After leaving the shop she had a run in with Yuu’s brother. Is it weird that each character only really becomes relevant when Koizumi runs into them? I just now noticed that when she walks past a side character they become relevant somehow. The second part of the episode dealt with all the girls struggling with the heat.

Yuu and company find themselves in a predicament. Their diets have become drastically unstable due to the intense heat of summer. Meaning they have been eating things like shaved ice and ice cream. While discussing their problem they run into Koizumi. Thus meeting eventually leads to everyone eating chilled ramen. At least that fixes the diet problem? I’m learning all kinds of things from this show.

“I thought you said this episode was adorable. When does it get adorable Bob?” I’m glad you asked. Koizumi runs into Hana, a cute little German girl who’s lost. Hana follows Koizumi into a ramen shop and stares at her until Koizumi agrees to help. Koizumi even shares her ramen with Hana, if that isn’t adorable I don’t know what is.

Even Koizumi has a weakness for small children it seems. The rest of the episode involves the duo searching for the missing mother. It was a heartwarming thing to see from this series. For once, one of the main plot points wasn’t about ramen at all.  I’m a little impressed right now if you couldn’t tell. I thought all I would get was ramen information dumps from this show.  I hope they do more things like this in the future.

Anyway, they do find Hana’s mother eventually. It got so cliche, but as cliche, as it was it was still adorable. Koizumi got rewarded by Hana’s mother with some ramen tickets. Okay, maybe it still involved ramen just a little bit. Overall this was a really enjoyable episode, in fact, it’s about as Evil as a Villian (9).
