Wait, did we just get an action scene in this show? How Evil is Mitsuboshi Colors episode 2?

The Colors are at it again, this time Sacchan’s mom calls on the girls to help her sell bananas. The bananas have to be sold now or Sacchan will have to eat them three meals a day. Horrified after hearing that, the girls set off to sell them all. This is where things take a slightly more hilarious turn. Girls go to visit the old man, the one that sold them the rocket launcher before.

They trick the old man into eating a banana and then tell him to pay up. He does and then they get him to pay for the ones they are eating. If the old man didn’t like them I’m sure this could’ve been ugly. At least that’s what I thought but they do that to a lot of people this episode, so maybe the town is just used to their antics? The girls then have a fight with some street punks using bananas as weapons.

Yes, it was a play fight but it was kind of cool to watch. They played it up like the punks were actually going to hurt the girls and then the fight happened. It was a nice change to what we’ve seen in this show so far. Soon after all of that hilarity, the girls had to find one last mark. They turn to the one person that’s been absent this episode.

That’s right the police officer they love to torment. They ask him if he wants a banana but he refuses to give them the time of day. After brushing the girls of an old lady ask him for directions. Tired of being ignored and really wanting to sell the last bananas Kotoha starts to complain about being kicked in the stomach by the officer. The other girls join in leading up to the old lady playing along. The officer gives in and buys the banana’s sharing them with the old lady as well. The girls come back with monster costumes of some type but the officer locks himself in his office. Yeah, he nopes them.

In the second half of the episode, the girls must defuse a bomb made by the old man. Yes, it’s fake and the girls seem to know that too this time. The bomb has a riddle on it to tell the girls which wire to cut. The riddle says something about an eye in the middle of something, but the girls set out looking for actual eyes.

Their adventure leads them into the underground marketplace. Sacchan takes it upon her self to find a shop that sells eyes, or poop because of course, she does. They find absolutely nothing. They do eventually run into Nonoka from the last episode, she doesn’t help at all. Kotoha eventually figures out the answer leading to the red wire being cut. With the task done they return to the old man.

I would say this episode was about as evil as a Killer Robot Army (8). This show has remained consistent, at the very least it’s a good cool down show.
