Homare, you evil genius. How evil is Net-juu no Susume episode 7?

There is no way Homare doesn’t have things planned. He knows which game they are playing and I’m pretty sure he knows Yuuta is playing as a girl.  It seems he is trying to get these 2 together by any means. He isn’t even trying to hide it. I kind of like that about him.  He can seem like a jerk but he does care about his friend.

Yuuta just doesn’t seem to take a hint though. If I could hit him I would. Moriko likes him too, but he still can’t seem to muster up the courage to do anything. It’s kind of frustrating to me, to be honest. He says that he won’t get involved anymore with her, then we get that little awkward scene of hem showing off his characters outfits to everyone.

Morika creates that new character based on her old one just to play with Homare, and Yuuta recognizes it from the other game too? I can believe the first run-in pretty easily. I’m not too sure I buy this one though. I mean it’s a little too coincidental. It’s not a bad thing, though. I just thought we didn’t need the connection to the old MMO in the first place.

Homare was my favorite part of this episode. He is such a troll, making a character that stands out that much. I’m not even sure if he’s actually a noob at online games.  The way the situation happened was just funny. I think it’s funny that Yuuta might be using his old character next episode too.  Homare’s special ability appears to be getting Yuuta to take action.  We all know who will be getting the last laugh here.

Overall this episode was great. I would say it’s about as evil as a Super Villian. Yuuta not being able to act is to be expected, it’s a Romantic Comedy. And seeing things more from his perspective is nice, so you can kind of forgive him for being a blockhead. If you like what you read be sure to check out our other stuff.
