So, Inuyashiki finally has an ally. How Evil is Inuyashiki episode 5?
Inuyashiki Last Hero
Studio: MAPPA
Genre: Science Fiction
This was a rather tame episode. Inuyashiki didn’t really do a whole lot and Hiro contemplated quitting his murder spree. I’ll get to that last thing in a bit. The old man picked up an ally in Hiro’s former best friend, Ando. If you even glanced at the opening, this was pretty obvious. This guy figured out there were two robots out of there all by himself. I wonder if he’ll end up being the “guy in the chair” for the old man.
Ando got to work right away, trying to help Inuyashiki train. Of course, it was focused on using the weapons he’s yet to use while not blacked out. It seems Inuyashiki might not have the finger gun. During his training he was able to unleash the missile things he employed against the mobsters, granted in a much smaller amount.
Hiro used his healing powers to save his own mother. We got a lot out of him this episode. Including a dream of him being human again. I’m not entirely sure the dream was needed, but what if he had thought this was a dream all along? It could explain why he treated it as a game, at least.
Hiro is a pretty complicated villain if you can truly call him a villain after this episode. He seems to be getting a tad bit remorseful because of his mom’s reaction to his killings. He even says to himself that he’ll stop killing. At the very least Hiro still loves and cares for his mom. He does have a little light in all that darkness.
It may be too late for Hiro though. I’m pretty sure he’s about to kill all those guys who attacked him at his own home. If his mom gets caught up in this mess I’m pretty sure that light is gonna be snuffed out. I’m not looking forward to it, but Hiro needs the push to go full dark side.
This series has had some crazy twists already. I could be terribly wrong about what’s going to happen next. I would say this episode was about as evil as a Super Villain. The next episode’s rating will most likely be determined by how well they pull off Hiro’s complete fall. If that’s where they take it at all. It’s an easy thing to mess up. If this isn’t your thing, though, maybe check out some of the other shows we’ve covered.
Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep It Classy,
Evil Bob
