Battlefront 2 to get Free DLC for The Last Jedi – Scripted Gaming

Apparently, EA isn’t as incompetent as I originally believed.

So, EA and Dice just revealed that there will be free DLC for Battlefront 2 accompanying the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  Not only will multiplayer being getting stuff but the single-player campaign will be getting something too.  I wonder if the underwhelming performance of the first game has something to do with this?

Most people I know stayed away from the first game. One of them even called it a glorified beta. I played The original Battlefront 2 on my PlayStation 2 if this game isn’t at least as good as that I’m out. Their first try didn’t even come close to what I was expecting.

The New Battlefront 2 is looking like an all-new animal. Included with the multiplayer the campaign will supposedly bridge the gap from the Original Star Wars Trilogy to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And with this announcement maybe even a little more. I’m a little curious about how they will be expanding the single-player campaign since it starts after the emperor’s death some years before Awakens.

Also, we know they will continue to release free DLC, they did announce all DLC would be free.  If they do stick with what they’ve said, that would be a good reason to get the game based on single player content alone. As for multiplayer, that was all their first game was I’m confident that it will be a worthy experience too.  Especial after they got all that backlash about excluding space battles last time.

Let’s just hope there aren’t a lot of microtransactions in multiplayer, at least to the point its pay to win. I think that’s just lazy. I’m hoping the single player will be good enough for me to get it. Well anyway, we don’t have much longer to wait. Battlefront 2 blasts its way to store November, 17th.

Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.

Keep It Classy,
Evil Bob
