Net-juu no Susume – Episode 5 Recap (Is It Evil?)
Well, some of my suspicions were confirmed. How Evil is Net-juu no Susume, episode 5?
A lot happened in this episode. Moriko prepared for her date, the guild leader’s real-life identity was revealed, and Yuuta knows for certain who her online identity is… at least he better by now. As I said a lot happened this episode. There is one thing that has me a bit perplexed.
Yuuta’s friend set up a date with Moriko, last episode, but it seems like he told her the wrong date or she got her days confused. She was going to the date a whole day early, was she just that nervous or did he intentionally give her the wrong day? If he did it on purpose, he is either an evil mastermind, or he knows she plays the same game that Yuuta plays. I don’t know which it is, right now. But he did say some suspicious things when chatting with Yuuta. Exhibit A.
Moriko had some of the funniest moments for me. You know someone is obsessed when she can give you the cost of a real-world item in loot boxes. To be fair, I price items by how many games I could buy, so I guess I’m obsessed too. And her usual freakouts about her own looks are still pretty funny. She is very self-conscious about this date.
For a while now I had been guessing that the guy who works at the convenience store was the guild leader. Turns out I was right. To be honest, I was hoping I wasn’t. I was hoping that it would maybe someone we hadn’t met yet, but this guy is cool. He seems to be the levelheaded type, both in real life and in the game. It was also funny to learn he already knew Lily is played by a guy. I’m curious about how many other secrets he knows now.
Overall this episode was great. Yuuta, you better know for sure, now. I would say this episode is about as evil as a Super Villian. I swear to God if Yuuta doesn’t know who she is, I’m going to… Keep watching. Honestly, I can’t stop now. It’s just too much fun. If you liked this review check out our others.
