Telltale’s The Walking Dead approaches its final season.
So, yeah. This happened. Not sure what I feel about this yet, but at least they are bringing back Gary Whitta. If you don’t know who he is, he wrote episode 4 in the first season. It was one of my favorites so here’s hoping he can help the last season be awesome. To me, this series was way better than the show. I just hope this is an awesome ending.
While I do enjoy this series I really hated a few parts. Namely the illusion of choice that happened almost every episode. Sometimes it just felt like there was no winning. It was more like choose who should die first, or which person do you want to see die right now. It gets worse when you like both characters but can only keep one alive, for a little longer anyway. I generally just don’t like no-win scenarios.
Anyway, along with the announcement of the final season, Telltale also announced a collection of all 19 episodes, including the miniseries. It will feature remastered versions of the first two seasons, both miniseries as I mentioned before, and the third season. That is a lot of zombies. I wonder if they’ll include a pass for the newest one in it? That would justify the price of $49.99 for those who would see this as a rip off anyway.
I personally don’t usually go for remakes, but this is tempting even for me. The collection is to be released December 5th. So, if you want a zombie holiday there you go. The final season is to be released sometime in 2018. There is still plenty of time to catch up on the story, even if you get the collection in December.
That’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep it Classy,
Evil Bob
