After a “Paragon of Evil,” we get… a vampire. How Evil Is Infini-T Force episode 4?

Genre: Action, Science Fiction
I didn’t think I would actually like Belle Lynn. She’s a vampire, so there is a stigma there for me. They’re just so overused, much like zombies, but I got to give props to this show. Their vampire actually has a little depth to her and, in some ways, she has a noble cause. She wants to resurrect her species by obtaining strapping genes… as in… “Strapping young gentleman.” Yeah, she’s one of those. The only problem is that the genes she wants can only come from two places – another villain, or one of the heroes. We even have a motivation for her to kill off other species… she doesn’t trust them. What? I didn’t say it was a good motivation. I think we are probably going to get
We even have a motivation for her to kill off other species… she doesn’t trust them. What? I didn’t say it was a good motivation. I think we are probably going to get backstory on that before this show ends. Oh and one more thing. She might be a tad lonely, being the only survivor of her race. While conversing and fighting with the heroes, she seemed a little sad at times. That’s all about Belle for now.
Emi had a lot going on in this episode. We learned that she actually used to smile and act like a normal human. We still don’t know why she became so… apathetic. She has a friend that literally tries to force her to have fun… by going to a Halloween party. You know, you have to try awfully hard to not have fun at a party. And Emi is apparently a master party pooper. I still want to know why she’s like this. Maybe her father made a wish that did this to her? She doesn’t seem to care about life but she still wants to live. She used the case just to save her own skin twice now. The first redirected that meteor to a more populated area, and the second got Belle ran over. It’s getting annoying that she hasn’t changed much. She accepted the heroes, but she really didn’t have a choice. Her best friend’s disappearance did seem to affect her. Maybe we will see some development in the next episode?
The art stayed the same, with the exception of an epic energy beam collision. That was glorious to behold. It also ended with a satisfying explosion. I was very happy with it. I’m a little surprised only two of the heroes fought, this time. After fighting off that meteor, I was expecting a more outrageous fight than what we got. While I thought it needed more, it did end in the beam collision. I guess that levels it out.
Overall it was an interesting episode. We got some backstory on Emi, at least. We got a way less cheesy villain than last time. I would say this episode is about as evil as a Politician. Lack of growth for Emi has just lowed the rating. She’s the main character. She needs to grow a bit more. With the reaction to her friend’s disappearance, we may see that growth at least start, next episode. If you enjoyed this review check out our other reviews for the season.
