Today we continue with the misadventures of Team Loser. Let’s see just how evil this episode of Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) is.
Episode 4 focuses partially on the humans, who are actually competent compared to their big metal counterparts. Rusty – the kid in the show – is bored. So his dad tells him to go play with the local kids on a football field, nearby. Bumblebee’s team goes after another Decepticon and decide to do the smart thing… They split up… again. Idiots. This results in Bumblebee getting his can kicked by a Decepticon Combiner called Chopshop, who wrecks shop before the rest of Bumblebee’s team arrive to share in his failure. Defeated, the team returns to base. Rusty also returns after literally eating dirt on the field, but he’s not alone. He’s followed by Hank. Hank is a girl who seems to like Rusty, so yay new person… I guess. After the momentary distraction, the team discovers Chopshop is building a ship, and he seems to be missing one component – fuel. Rusty’s dad informs the team of a fuel plant in the area, prompting the team to need a plan. Bumblebee decides, this time, that they need help from the more portable members of the team. Rusty’s dad volunteers to help Fixit locate the perp. Everything goes well until they find Chopshop, who escapes again, only this time he has taken Fixit as an arm… so apparently they can do that, now? After licking their wounds… again, the team follows the tire tracks of the gas-truck, right to Chopshop’s base… I’m not saying it this time. They manage to stop Chopshop with the help of Fixit, proving only the big ones are idiots. Oh, and they spy on Rusty having fun with his friends at the end.
This episode was a little better. The villain seemed powerful for once, and the human did something that moves some semblance of story forward. I would say it’s about as evil as an Upstanding Citizen. Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep it Classy,
