We return to probably the worst written Transformers show ever made. Last week I covered episode 2. Today, we will see just how “evil” episode 3 of Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) is.
The episode starts off with a surprise – Team Loser is having more teamwork issues. Strongarm and Sideswipe are fighting, so Blunderbee takes Grimlunk on a mission to fight a Sharkticon Pirate. Strongarm and Sideswipe are ordered to investigate possible cryo-pods together, so they split up… like idiots. Blunderbee and Grimlunk arrive on scene and get attacked by the pirate, prompting Grimlunk to do what he does best – act like a moron. Grimlunk jumps into the ocean in Dinosaur form, and ends up stuck on the floor for the rest of the fight… like an idiot. Blunderbee tries to intimidate his foe with no success. The Sharkticon gets away. We will now shift back to the other two losers. Strongarm finds a wolf-like Decepticon about to open 2 pods, so she stops him by talking to him. During the talk, the Decepticon tricks her into thinking he was a prison guard before he captures her… like… and… idiot. Sideswipe returns and reports that he didn’t find anything, only to find out Strongarm is missing. He then heads out to find her with the human child… so this won’t end well. The pair finds Strongarm and her captor, and the human comes up with a plan. Using Sideswipe disguised as a Decepticon as a distraction, he tries to free Strongarm. The plan works and the Decepticon escapes. Blunderbee puts him on their most wanted list.
I can’t bring myself to like this show. Everything that has happened with this team is so stupid. Bumblebee should be taking names, not blundering every move. Yes Grimlock is supposed to be an idiot, but he’s also still supposed to be a great warrior, not a screw up. I just can’t even. This episode is about as evil as a Super Hero.
Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.
Keep It Classy,
Evil Bob
