Is It Evil? – Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) Episode 2

So, last week I reviewed the first episode of this… thing. Now I’m here to see just how evil is the second episode of Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015).

The transforming miss adventures continue right where they left off, in the last episode. Bumblebee and his ragtag team set out to stop a Decepticon from eating a scrap yard. They fail miserably. The Decepticon gets tired of the junk food and sets his sites on a human city instead. After Fix-It equips the group, Bumblebee states they are a team. So… +1 to teamwork, or something… even though none of them have been working together all that great up until now. They manage to back the con into a corner, and then screw that up by putting more junk directly in his face. Right when it looks like the heroes may lose, a Dues Ex Optimus happens, saving the day and making me care even less. Optimus gives Bumblebee some encouragement, then vanishes into thin air. Oh, and the junkyard becomes the base of team loser.

There are so many problems with this episode I won’t even bother listing them this time. I do think this episode hit an all new low for me. Grimlock is weak, as well as dumb; Strong-arm doesn’t know the books are just guidelines, and preaches them like the Bible; the only character that really makes any sense is Rusty, and he’s a human child. The sad part is that all of them are incompetent, including Blunderbee. He is a war veteran. He took on Megatron. He should know what he is doing. I’m not even going to get into Fix-It’s problems. This episode was about as Evil as a Super Hero.

Well, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for letting me waste your time, people.

Keep It Classy,
Evil Bob
